    UK bass

    Part of Bass Music

UK bass is an umbrella term for a variety of bass-heavy electronic music styles that emerged from the UK in the late 2000s, drawing influences from genres like dubstep, garage, grime, and drum and bass. Known for its deep, powerful basslines and diverse tempos, UK bass often incorporates syncopated rhythms, heavy sub-bass, and elements from house and techno. It’s less about a specific tempo or structure and more about the emphasis on bass and groove, blending elements from various UK underground scenes. UK bass has become a staple in club music, appealing to listeners with its innovative, genre-blurring sound and versatility.
