Ambient
Ambient music is an electronic genre that focuses on creating immersive, atmospheric soundscapes, often with minimal structures, slow tempos, and a focus on tone and mood rather than melody or rhythm. Pioneered by artists like Brian Eno, it emerged in the 1970s and is known for its ability to evoke emotions through expansive, ethereal sound environments. The genre has many subgenres, such as dark ambient and space ambient, each offering unique listening experiences. While often associated with relaxation, ambient music can also be experimental, transforming spaces and enhancing moods.
