    Aggrotech

    Part of EBM

Aggrotech (also known as Harsh EBM) is a subgenre of industrial music that focuses on aggressive, dark, and harsh electronic sounds. It takes influence from EBM but emphasizes more distorted, abrasive elements, with heavily processed vocals, intense beats, and harsh synth textures. The sound is typically fast-paced and brutal, often featuring aggressive themes, such as anger, rebellion, and dystopia. Aggrotech incorporates distorted, shouted vocals and extreme electronic effects, resulting in a harder, more confrontational style. Artists like Suicide Commando, Combichrist, and Grendel are prominent figures in the aggrotech scene, often pushing the limits of intensity and sonic harshness.
